1. Marketplace Platform Only

Threads of Tradition is a marketplace platform that connects independent Vendors offering garments for rent or sale with Buyers seeking to rent or purchase those garments. We do not own, manufacture, store, package, ship, or take physical possession of any product listed on the Platform. All listings are created and managed directly by Vendors.

2. No Responsibility for Listed Products

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is not responsible or liable for:

• Product quality, authenticity, or condition.
• Accuracy of product descriptions, images, sizing, or pricing provided by Vendors.
• Pickup arrangements.
• Delivery arrangements and shipping.
• Returns and exchanges.
• Damages to, or loss of, any garment before, during, or after a rental or sale.

3. No Responsibility for Disputes

The Platform is not responsible or liable for resolving, and makes no warranty regarding the outcome of:

• Rental disputes between Buyers and Vendors.
• Purchase disputes between Buyers and Vendors.
• Payment disputes, including disagreements over deposits, refunds, or charges.
• Any other disagreement arising from a transaction conducted through the Platform.

Where the Platform offers to assist with communication or mediation between parties, this assistance is offered as a courtesy and does not create any obligation, warranty, or liability on the part of the Platform.

4. No Responsibility for User Conduct

The Platform is not responsible or liable for the conduct of any user, including but not limited to:

• Vendor conduct, including failure to deliver, late delivery, or misrepresentation of items.
• Buyer conduct, including damage to garments, late returns, or non-payment.
• Any statements, communications, or behavior of one user toward another, whether on or off the Platform.

5. Transactions Are Between Users

Every rental or purchase facilitated through the Platform is a transaction directly between the Buyer and the Vendor. The Platform is not a party to that transaction and assumes no responsibility for its performance, except for facilitating payment processing through our third-party payment provider.

6. “As Is” Basis

The Platform, and all content and listings made available through it, are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threads of Tradition, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, any listed product, or any transaction between users, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Threads of Tradition from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your listings (if you are a Vendor), your conduct, or your violation of these terms.

9. Severability

If any part of this Disclaimer is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

10. Acknowledgement

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Legal Disclaimer.
